Custom Personalized Dog Collars
All our dog collars are made from genuine vegetable tanned leather at our custom leather shop. You pick the what you want from our many options and we will make the collar to your specifications. We start making dog collar from by stripping it from our large selection of quality hides. The leather dog collar is then dyed, oiled, polished, edge coated, water repellent applied, riveted and decorated. We get a lot of calls for extremely large dog owners since our custom dog collars are made for any small or extremely large neck size you specify.
We use sturdy quality solid brass or chrome plated solid brass buckles and Dee rings. They have to be strong since they are also used by harness manufacturers.
For large strong dog breeds such as Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, American Staffordshire Terriers, German Shepherds and Mastiffs, we recommend using our tough leather dog collars. These rugged dog collars are made of two layers of leather of our regular dog collar leather, making it a combined thickness of 1/4 inch. They are sewn together on our harness stitching machine with very strong nylon harness thread.
