The industrial belt was delivered about 20 minutes ago.  Perfect!  I have tried it and it’s an excellent fit.  I quickly put some of the items that I hike with; knife, bear spray, flashlight and other items could go on. Some may consider this a little heavy for hiking but then they wouldn’t be carrying a 1.7lb bush knife either, so for me it works and I wanted a good quality build as is this belt.

These 1" Chrome polished solid brass roller buckles replaced four slip Buckles that had worn out and became difficult to use. Yellow web straps were replaced as well. What a difference!! When the weather is tough, the last thing you want is to be fighting outdated gear. Replacing these Buckles doesn't seem like a big deal but when loading and unloading your animals in the back country, quality and ease of use is a big deal. The 2" solid brass Roller Buckles connect the box straps to the saddle and must be strong enough to support loads of up to 100lbs day in and day out. The solid brass holds up to the weather and is very dependable. I am more than satisfied with the Buckles I've purchased. The customer service has been excellent. And response to all my concerns answered in a timely professional manner. I would highly recommend Leathersmith Designs Inc. to any one making similar repairs or upgrades. 5 star all the way guys. We'll do more business.

The restoration team was very happy to get the leather sleeves you made for us and particularly liked the material you used. I've sent you a couple pictures of the project, it's a 1927 Caterpillar crawler tractor with a four cylinder gas engine. Hopefully it'll give you a clearer picture of where your sleeves will be used.
The first picture is the Cat 20 as it appeared on our front lawn as a static display here at Department of Transportation, Miller Lake. The second picture shows us working on the undercarriage and drive line. You can see where the leather sleeves you made will be used, one on each side. This is the linkage between the operating levers in the cab and the steering clutches in the final drive. The sleeves keep dirt, dust and debris from entering the clutch housing.
