Leather Craft Kits & Belt Blanks

Leathersmith Designs Inc. is a leather supplier for those doing leathercraft.  Some of the leather craft kits we stock are belt blanks, precut bookmark shapes, precut coaster shapes, keytag kits and woggle kits for scouting.

The undyed belt blanks have the edges beveled and the round buckle holes punched.  You will have to buy other items separately to finish the belt such as buckles, dyes, neatsfoot oil, polish and rivets.  You might want to buy an alphabet stamp set to hand imprint names or other stamp tools for designs.

The undyed coaster shapes and bookmarks also require you to buy dyes and stamp tools to decorate your project.  However the woggle kits come with the snaps but you will need to buy a line 24 snap setter and  dot anvil separately.  The key tag kits come with the rivets and rings but you will have to buy the rivet setter separately.

If you are on a very limited budget like most non profit groups are, you might have acrylic craft paints or acrylic tole paints at home that might work for children's crafts.  You can also file shapes out of spike heads to make interesting designs to pound in the damp leather before you color it.
