Leather Worker Temporary

Job Description: The job involves using leather equipment to cut, imprint and rivet leather products as well as using some hand tools.  Only needed part time on call (21 - 35 hours per week) for 2 - 3 weeks to help us catch on orders.

Requirements:  Ability to use equipment on a repetitive basis for long periods of time.  Will train on using leather equipment.

Essential Skills:  Reading text, document use, numeracy, good oral communication, working well with others, critical thinking, problem solving, decision making, significant use of memory, speak English, read English, write English.

Work Setting:  Private studio, manufacture, self employed

Education:   Art or Craft College education preferred.  Completion of high school required. Some college/vocational school, technical training or university.

Pay: $15.20 per hour

Location:  Dartmouth

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.
