Leathersmith Designs Inc. is a Canadian manufacturer of quality leather goods, leather products and a distributor of leather craft supplies.  We sell leather products in the United States and in Canada.  All prices advertised in this web site are in Canadian currency.
     Leathersmith Designs Inc. was created by Jamie Hartling who started crafting leather goods in 1975.  His initial leather experience was gained through Dartmouth Continuing Education and local leather shops.  He traveled to Montreal, Toronto and New York  for advanced training from leather trades people.   Business education was earned through his Bachelor of Commerce Degree at Saint Mary's University.  Joined by his wife Gail Hartling, father Gerald Hartling and other employees we now ship leather products and supplies coast to coast for businesses and consumers.  If you are in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia visit our show room and production area.
     Our main leather goods production lines are promotional leather products (imprinted leather key tags, leather drink coasters and leather bookmarks) and leather goods (leather name belts, big and tall belts, change coin purses and wallets).  Our one of a kind custom  leather work consists mostly of leather knife cases, leather name belts, leather guitar straps and various other leather tool and electronic cases.  Some of our leather craft supplies stocked for people doing leather craft and leather work are leather hide and leather lace, leather craft tools, solid brass belt buckles, metal steel strap buckles, rapid rivets, leather craft hardware and leather dyes.
